第二届“新东方杯”英语口语大赛(微博)全国总决赛于2012年4月8日至11日在北京隆重举行。本次大赛以就业为主题，吸引了全国高校上万名学生报名参赛。“新东方杯”英语口语大赛针对全国大学生英语沟通应用能力，以开拓当代大学生国际视野，提升大学生跨文化交际素养，增强大学生职场竞争力为使命。以下为第二届新东方(微博)口语大赛华东赛区选手张婷的简介。

　　非常有幸能够参加本次”第二届‘新东方杯’英语口语大赛“，让我结识这么多与我一样对英语如此爱好的朋友们，也要感谢新东方能够提供这样一个平台，让我们能够聆听英语界的前辈们的指点，在一轮轮的比赛中不断完善，实现自我的锻炼、提升与发展。

　　Just like Benjamin Franklin once said:“There are three things extremely hard: steel, a diamond and to know oneself. By participating in such a competition with the theme of “From Campus to Career”， I got the opportunity to meet friends who are passionate about English just like me. What’s more important is that I started to better understand myself. I would hereby give my sincere thanks to New Oriental School for providing me with so good a platform to gain confidence and realize my self-development. I am so lucky to be in the final round, but I know it’s just a starting point. Filled with great expectation for the future, I’m seeking to find who I am, where I will be and then, get there。
